Thank you for taking the time to peruse our website. It is designed so that one may become familiar with us as a school, our mission and vision statements and see how we prepare our students to become active and conscientious global citizens. We are proud of our non-selective admission policy, offering the IB education to all students with diverse backgrounds.
The most important motive for work in school and in life is pleasure in work, pleasure in its result, and the knowledge of the value of the result to the community. Albert Einstein
Our teaching staff and the relationships with our students are the foundation of our success. Outdoor education and experiential learning are very important to us and provide countless opportunities to form bonds and create a close-knit community. Coupled with small classes and a diverse teaching staff, Skagerak has maintained a successful, trusting learning community for over 25 years.
Our mission at Skagerak is to be more than just a school preparing students for the world’s top universities. Through the PYP, MYP and DP curriculum of the IB and by instilling the IB learner profile, we aim to create global-minded citizens and to develop the whole human being.
