The friends I made in my three years at Skagerak continue to be among my best. It was special for me to live in a collective student apartment as a 16 year old. We managed to do some things right, but many things wrong. However, all of the mistakes we made taught us lessons and together we became adults. I think this was, therefore, the reason that these friendships have been so strong. I have been working as deputy station manager in Norway for Lufthansa, Swiss, and Austrian airlines, and am transitioning to New York to assume a similar role there.
